Product Overview

The Elgar AC Power Sources provide power at precise frequencies for testing, motor operation, and frequency conversion. The basic power amplifier consists of two DC power supplies and a direct-coupled amplifier providing a direct output at the rear panel terminal board and at the front panel binding posts. The Elgar C Series AC Power Sources are contained in a rack-mountable enclosure. A meter for output voltage monitoring, a voltage amplitude control, a power circuit-breaker switch that applies line power to the unit, and a power-on indicator are located on the front panel. Cooling air is drawn through a front-panel grill and exhausted at the rear of the enclosure.
