The Agilent HP 11970U waveguide mixer is a general-purpose harmonic mixer employing a dual-diode design to achieve flat frequency response and low conversion loss. These are achieved without external dc bias or tuning stubs. Manual operation and computer-controlled hardware operation are simplified because mixer bias and tuning adjustment are not required. The 11970U has a WR-19 waveguide flange input and operates from 40 - 60 GHz. The 11970U is compatible with the E4407B, 8562A, 8563A, 8560E/EC Series, 8566B, 71000 Series, and PSA Series Spectrum Analyzers.
