The Anritsu S113B Sitemaster is the ideal instrument for full antenna and feed line analysis. This portable, handheld instrument is the number one field tool needed for antenna and feed line analysis. It provides full swept return loss and distance to fault information on a given antenna and feed line. These units include software for your notebook or desktop PC so data can be saved for later analysis and comparison. Save time and unnecessary repairs by getting accurate information on your system.
The Sitemaster has been mandated for antenna testing by several Cellular and PCS companies because of its ability to provide accurate data in a high RF environment. The Distance to fault is especially helpful because it shows all the points of your feed line that are not 50 ohms (connectors and bends in coax) and it shows their distance from the end of the coax. The swept return loss shows the amount of power (in db) that is being reflected (not radiated) from your antenna on a db x frequency graph. The swept coax loss shows the loss in 1/100 of a db for a given frequency range (ex: 100Mhz-1.2 Ghz) by adding a short to 1 end of your coax and sweeping the other end. Or you can use the dual port models (ex: S251C) to sweep and receive.
