The TTC INTERCEPTOR 1402 is a versatile, lightweight test instrument for monitoring, analyzing, and troubleshooting digital communications systems. The INTERCEPTOR can operate as a :
- Dedicated point-to-point test instrument
- Monitor instrument
- Multiplexer/demultiplexer analyzer
Dedicated point-to-point testing allows data a fixed rate to be monitored or tested. For dedicated testing, one data rate is received, analyzed, and transmitted.
Monitor operation allows one tributary from a higher data rate to be monitored in service. If testing is required, the individual tributary can be tested without disrupting traffic flow on the remaining tributaries.
