The 54118A gives your 54750 / 54120 series oscilloscope true event triggering from 500 MHz to 18 GHz, with less than 1.7 ps of rms jitter at 18 GHz.  This powerful and versatile accessory extends the oscilloscope's measurement capabilities to applicatoins in lightwave communicatoins, pulsed RF, gigabit logic, pseudo-random bit stream eye patterns, and other microwave signals.
